We’ve just returned from Global Awakening’s Voice of the Apostles conference where day and night, for a whole week, we witnessed the miraculous. Along with the extraordinary experience, I came away believing that God has a message for us, particularly in the United States, and it’s this: Just as we are hearing more and more about visitations and signs and wonders taking place in other parts of the world, so He is beginning to show Himself here in America.
Beyond Healing
For some time now, we have been on a journey that’s expanding our ministry beyond healing for the heart and soul of man. When Jesus walked the earth, He didn’t just bind up the brokenhearted; He also healed sickness and disease. When He commissioned His disciples to preach the Good News, He also said, “heal the sick and cast out demons.” (If you’re wondering whether or not we’re included in that commissioning, consider Jesus’ words in His prayer for the disciples in John 17, esp. verse 20.)
It excites us to see physical healing come to people as a result of inner healing. But in the past couple years, God has been kindling a fire in us for healing directly to the physical needs of people, the saved and the unsaved, just as in the Bible. We’ve been reading testimonies and gathering evidence. From debilitating diseases that couldn’t be identified, to bones reforming and tumors dissolving, to staples and pins disappearing, nothing is out of God’s reach, and He is empowering His people to bring it forth in the earth.
But if I do them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.” (John 10:38)
A Testimony Among Many
On the last night of the conference, an elderly man testified of how he had been rushed to the hospital the night before because he started falling under sudden seizures. At the hospital, he told the doctors that as a child he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus (water on the brain), and there were two tubes running from one side of his head to his stomach, and a regulating box was implanted on the other side of his head. But when he was sent for a CAT scan, the technicians couldn’t find one of the tubes or the box! How could they have disappeared other than by the hand of God? And why? I am convinced it is because this man was among God’s people, all praying and seeking God’s presence and His healing power to manifest.
Can You Believe?
America is obsessed with healthcare. You can’t turn on the TV or read a magazine or go to your internet browser without being inundated with articles and ads for hospitals, clinics, drugs and treatments. But can God’s people go to Him once again as the healer for their physical brokenness, not just their spiritual brokenness? Our pursuit has led us to an unwavering conviction that the answer is yes!
It’s not just because we’ve seen it happen, we’re actually being used to make it happen.

That’s what excites us most. People who are healed by God receive a tangible expression of His love that can’t be compared to anything on earth, and their lives overflow with glory and gratitude. We don’t just rejoice in health regained, but we are jubilant in seeing people become contagious faith-builders in the Church and ambassadors of the Gospel to the lost. That’s powerfully effective missions work!
